With a strong focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and holistic care, Maureen ensures that every individual receives the support, education, and treatment they need to thrive.
She brings years of experience in primary care, hospice, and palliative care, serving adult and geriatric populations in both home settings and nursing facilities. Her clinical expertise includes managing acute and chronic medical conditions, conducting thorough health assessments, and guiding patients and families through goals-of-care discussions to align treatment plans with personal values and long-term needs.
Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Maureen worked as a Registered Nurse for over a decade, with experience on medical and oncology units. As a hospice nurse, she focused on symptom management and end-of-life care, supporting patients from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds facing chronic and terminal illnesses.
Maureen’s passion for nursing began in childhood as she watched her mother work as a nurse in a hospital in Cameroon. Inspired by that early experience, she began her healthcare journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant. While working and attending school, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at South University in Savannah, Georgia.
